Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
Cherry entered the field of Chinese medicine with the intent to give people the tools to live happy and healthy lives. She approaches medicine with the utmost respect, empathy, and dedication to uplift and enrich her patients and the community. Through individualized care, Cherry develops realistic treatment plans and goals that lead to positive outcomes.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology at the University of South Florida, Cherry moved on to the next chapter in her life. She relocated to Portland, Oregon to pursue her Masters studies at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Her clinical experience there includes working with seniors at a non-profit senior center and at an in-patient rehabilibtation center to help those manage withdrawal symptoms due to various opioid addictions. In additional to general care, Cherry also specializes in women’s health (irregular menstration, dysmenorrhea, PCOS, etc.), men’s health (BPH, erectile dysnfunction, etc), allergies, stress, depression, fatigue, addiction, insomnia, digestive issues and musculoskeletal pain.
Cherry Kim is nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine through NCCAOM. She is a licensed Acupuncture Physician in the state of Florida.
When she’s not working, Cherry loves to read, watch movies, go on hikes, and play with her two Maltese dogs (Lucky and Chorong).
