Dr. Natalia Gonzales
Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
Meet our Acupuncturist
Dr. Natalia has always had an attraction to the holistic health world. She was first influenced by her great grandmother, a self taught midwife and medicine woman in Dagua Colombia who passed at the age 101 years old. Yoga was what initiated Natalia into her personal journey as a wellness practitioner. She began her yoga practice in studio at the age of 12 and always wanted a career where she can provide a healing service to people using natural remedies and a holistic outlook.
Her education started in Public Health so that she could later pursue Occupational Therapy. Midway of this she found eastern medicine through the use of herbs for her own ailments and fell in love with the art and science of Acupuncture. She followed this passion and relocated to Orlando to study Oriental Medicine. There she received her masters of science In oriental medicine and a bachelors of science in professional health studies. She is an Acupuncture Physician certified through the Florida Board of acupuncture, A Diplomat of Oriental Medicine and Chinese herbalist certified through the NCCAOM.
Dr. Natalia has great compassion for anyone suffering from discomfort due to her own healing journey and understands what it is like to be in that position. She gives her all to identify the patterns of disease and determine an optimal treatment plan.
You can find her outside of work walking on trails with her dog Shanti, practicing yoga and qi gong, watching Japanese anime, playing the guitar, or shuffling through antiques at the local thrift shop
“I love this medicine and believe we are reaching a new level in humanity that is about coming back to our roots, tuning into our bodies to find harmony, and relieving us of ailments that no longer serve us.”
